A catch-all email mailbox receives messages sent to non-existent email addresses under the exact same domain name. For instance, an email sent to the misspelled suport@domain.com will go to support@domain.com in case the catch-all feature has been activated for the latter. In this way, you can get emails from mates or clients who may have sent a message to your email address with a typo or to an out-of-date one, which they may still have, but you have already disabled. Only one mailbox per domain name can be a catch-all one and email forwarding cannot be enabled for such a mailbox. This is so because of the fact that at some point you may start receiving spam emails in the catch-all mailbox and the forwarding restriction means that the spam will not be re-sent to a third-party mailbox.

Catch-all Emails in Cloud Hosting

You will be able to set up a catch-all email mailbox without difficulty if you’ve got a cloud hosting account with us. The Email Manager in our in-house built Hepsia Control Panel is feature-laden, yet astonishingly user-friendly, and it will allow you to activate different features, including the catch-all one, with just a few clicks. All the email addresses that you’ve created will be shown in alphabetical order in this section and next to each one you’ll find a small "Catch-all" logo. Clicking on it once will enable the feature, clicking on it once more will deactivate it. Since you can have only one such mailbox per domain name, our system will alert you if you’ve already got another mailbox with this option activated or if you have activated email forwarding.

Catch-all Emails in Semi-dedicated Servers

The in-house built Hepsia hosting Control Panel that comes with each and every semi-dedicated server package that we are offering will permit you to create a catch-all mailbox with ease even in case you don’t have much email/web hosting experience. All you have to do to accomplish that is click on the catch-all icon, which will be on the right side of each email address that you’ve created with your domain names in the hosting Control Panel’s Email Manager section. Since you can have only one single mailbox with this feature per domain name, our system will notify you if you have already configured a different catch-all mailbox or if the one that you’d like to use has email forwarding activated. In case you decide that you don’t want this feature any longer, you can turn it off by clicking again on the same icon. The Email Manager section will also permit you to view your catch-all mailboxes at a glance.
